PERRY RICHARDSON

DIRECTOR

From humble beginnings as a plasterer Perry founded A1 Interiors in 1988.

Over this time Perry has directed the growth of the company to its present day format.  He has held positions as the State and Federal President of the AWCI over the years and continues to work with suppliers and industry groups to better develop and enhance the industry. 

Perry also plays an active part in the training of new staff and mentoring our division leaders.

Bill Malone

DIRECTOR

Bill is a Chartered Accountant and Business Manager of more than 35 years’ experience.

He ran his own Public Accounting business and it was in this capacity that he acted as external accountant to A1 for over 20 years.

Bill has a vast amount of experience with the Building & Construction industry. He brings a strong focus on quality systems and job reporting to ensure works are done on time on budget.

STAN BERG

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Stan is a supervisor within our residential department.  His background originates from 18 years of experience on the tools and as a site foreman. 

Having worked for both commercial and residential teams there isn’t a project too big for him.  He specialises in completing large townhouse/unit projects. 

The experience Stan has acquired allows him to solve any issues that might arise onsite to ensure the client’s wishes are carried out an exceptional level.

LUKAS MAERKY

SENIOR ESTIMATOR

Having started at A1 as a cadet Lukas has quickly moved his way up and is now in charge of the residential division.

Lukas has  recently graduated from QUT with a Construction Management degree. Completing his degree  and working at the same time has allowed Lukas to put the theory into practice and absorb a wealth of knowledge in the industry.

His skills include contract administration, estimating and project coordination making a great fit to lead the residential team.

LEA YOUNG

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Lea has been a valued and integral part of A1 for eight years as the Company Accountant. Bringing over 15 years experience in operations, finance, construction and financial services to her post; Lea is an invaluable asset who excels not only in accounting but also loan processing procedures, job analysis & cost control, cash flow projection plus integration & migration tasks between varying systems.

As well as being CPA qualified she brings valuable knowledge on employee benefit accounting & budgeting whilst maintaining consistent interest computation accuracy - all vital traits needed from any corporate accountant.

 

JACOB WHITE

PROJECT MANAGER

With 10 years experience in the plastering industry, five years of which Jacob was a sub contractor and two years of being a site foreman, Jacob understands both sides of the industry and how to best manage tradies and builders.

He has a Cert 4 in walls and ceilings and can manage large commercial projects where he is at home with dealing with builders, architects and clients.

Scott Rigby

PROJECT MANAGER

Scott is the Project Manager at A1 Passive Fire and utilises his 16 years of experience in the construction industry and 6 years in Passive Fire to deliver effective and compliant systems or solutions on every project.

His strong technical knowledge of passive fire ratings provides assurances of accuracy and quality as one of our passive fire certifiers.

PROJECT COORDINATOR

Anya is a key asset to the A1 team, bringing with her extensive experience from international organisations in marketing and business development.

She ensures that every administrative duty runs smoothly while always keeping an eye out for opportunities to further improve efficiency within the team as project coordinator.

SHARRY PRATT

PROJECT COORDINATOR

As our Project Coordinator, Sharry puts her expertise in administration management and customer service to work every day. Sharry works hard at guaranteeing all projects run smoothly from from initiation to completion.

Sharry is dedicated to ensuring that all residential projects are managed with efficiency and quality from start to finish - this includes coordinating daily efforts among our project managers, suppliers, and builders on top of a range of administrative duties.
